Family Office Accountant
Single Family Office is seeking an experienced accounting professional to oversee day-to-day accounting across multiple entities. This role offers strong ownership of processes and the opportunity to maintain accurate, organized, and audit-ready financials.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accounting records across multiple entities, including holding companies and trusts
- Perform monthly reconciliations and support financial statement preparation
- Manage accounts payable, expense tracking, and payment processing
- Assist with cash management across entities
- Coordinate with external CPAs and tax advisors
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation
- Support process improvements and internal controls
- Assist with ad hoc administrative and operational needs
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Experience with multi-entity structures; trusts or investment entities preferred
- Experience in a family office, investment firm, or holding company environment is preferred
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks or similar systems
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
