Leasing Assistant



A prominent Family Office office in New York City is seeking a sophisticated, experienced real estate rental leasing professional. This role would report to the CEO and other members of Senior Management.


Responsibilities:


  • Respond to general inquiries via phone and email from prospective tenants as well as brokers/agents.
  • Set up/manage showing appointments with prospective tenants as well as brokers/agents.
  • Show apartments/tour buildings with prospective tenants as well as brokers/agents.
  • Interface with property management/construction department to ensure all units on the market/being shown are up to company standards.
  • Ensure that all units are being marketed correctly and clearly.
  • Work on new leases/lease renewals etc. to ensure all agreements/arrangements are correct and clear.
  • Research and incorporate new marketing ideas/concepts such as new or different websites/MLS databases or new technologies that can be used.
  • Track leasing activity such as active deals/vacancies/renewals/days on market/price points etc.
  • Work with multiple departments on a variety of special projects.


Qualifications:


  • 2+ years of leasing experience in NYC; experience from a top brokerage firm is preferred
  • Applicants must be mature and high energy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Tech savvy with strong marketing and social media experience
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Professional demeanor
