Leasing Assistant
A prominent Family Office office in New York City is seeking a sophisticated, experienced real estate rental leasing professional. This role would report to the CEO and other members of Senior Management.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to general inquiries via phone and email from prospective tenants as well as brokers/agents.
- Set up/manage showing appointments with prospective tenants as well as brokers/agents.
- Show apartments/tour buildings with prospective tenants as well as brokers/agents.
- Interface with property management/construction department to ensure all units on the market/being shown are up to company standards.
- Ensure that all units are being marketed correctly and clearly.
- Work on new leases/lease renewals etc. to ensure all agreements/arrangements are correct and clear.
- Research and incorporate new marketing ideas/concepts such as new or different websites/MLS databases or new technologies that can be used.
- Track leasing activity such as active deals/vacancies/renewals/days on market/price points etc.
- Work with multiple departments on a variety of special projects.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of leasing experience in NYC; experience from a top brokerage firm is preferred
- Applicants must be mature and high energy
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Tech savvy with strong marketing and social media experience
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Professional demeanor
