Senior Property Accountant - Commercial Real Estate

Rapidly growing Real Estate Investment firm is seeking a Senior Property Accountant to support its commercial real estate portfolio. This role oversees full-cycle property accounting, financial reporting, and close collaboration with property management teams.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Handle AP/AR functions in Yardi (invoice processing, cash receipts, rent adjustments)
• Perform bank reconciliations and journal entries (accruals, taxes, insurance, mortgage)
• Support CAM reconciliations and tenant billing
• Assist with audits, tax compliance, and financial reporting
• Partner with property managers and leadership on financial analysis

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in commercial real estate property accounting.
• Proficiency in Yardi
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
