Real Estate Analyst

Vertically integrated real estate investment firm is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its team. This role will support financial analysis and reporting across a real estate portfolio, assisting with investment decisions, development projects, and overall portfolio performance. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in financial modeling, real estate metrics, and data-driven reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain financial models to analyze property and portfolio performance
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages, including P&Ls, cash flow summaries, and valuation metrics
• Conduct market research, trend analysis, and sensitivity studies to support investment strategies
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as NOI, cap rates, and occupancy levels
• Create visual reports and dashboards to communicate insights to internal stakeholders
• Provide recommendations for enhancing value, reducing costs, and improving margins
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Maintain tracking tools for key initiatives related to leasing, collections, and capital expenditures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in real estate finance, investment analysis, or asset management
• Advanced Excel skills required (modeling, pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
• Familiarity with real estate systems and tools (e.g., Yardi, Argus, CoStar) is a plus
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
