VP, Asset Management


The Vice President, Asset Management is responsible for overseeing the performance of a commercial real estate portfolio. This role serves as the primary representative to tenants and operators, develops asset strategies to enhance portfolio value, and provides leadership to team members.


Responsibilities:


  • Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, operators, and related stakeholders
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess property conditions, market trends, and tenant operations
  • Collaborate with property management teams to administer leases and develop property improvement plans
  • Develop credit monitoring processes and reports
  • Engage brokers and consultants to understand market activity and support leasing strategies
  • Manage leasing processes, including negotiating terms and coordinating with legal teams
  • Prepare financial analyses to support leasing and disposition decisions
  • Monitor compliance with lease terms and other portfolio obligations
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members
  • Perform other duties to enhance portfolio value and mitigate risk


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field; Advanced Degree preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in healthcare real estate asset management
  • Strong understanding of real estate leasing and operations
  • Experience with Argus and Yardi is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
