Development Coordinator
The Development Coordinator supports the Development and Donor Relations team in managing relationships with a large base of fundholders while assisting with donor development initiatives. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, organized professional who can balance multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update records in the donor management database.
- Process new fundholder applications and assist with fund administration.
- Generate reports and lists for internal teams and stakeholder communications.
- Respond to donor inquiries and assist with the donor portal.
- Draft communications for members of the philanthropic community.
- Coordinate logistics for donor and community events, including registration, invitations, and vendor coordination.
- Assist with preparation of meeting materials, donor resources, and other administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree required
- 1-3 years of administrative/office experience within a not-for profit organization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
- Experience with a CRM or database preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
