Development Coordinator


The Development Coordinator supports the Development and Donor Relations team in managing relationships with a large base of fundholders while assisting with donor development initiatives. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, organized professional who can balance multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:


  • Maintain and update records in the donor management database.
  • Process new fundholder applications and assist with fund administration.
  • Generate reports and lists for internal teams and stakeholder communications.
  • Respond to donor inquiries and assist with the donor portal.
  • Draft communications for members of the philanthropic community.
  • Coordinate logistics for donor and community events, including registration, invitations, and vendor coordination.
  • Assist with preparation of meeting materials, donor resources, and other administrative tasks.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree required
  • 1-3 years of administrative/office experience within a not-for profit organization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
  • Experience with a CRM or database preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
