Controller
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee payroll, budgeting, and expense tracking
- Coordinate with external accountants for tax filings and annual reporting
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
- Maintain accurate and timely financial records across multiple entities
- Oversee daily office operations to ensure efficiency and organization
- Manage vendor relationships and office supplies
- Coordinate basic IT support needs
- Maintain organized digital and paper filing systems
- Provide administrative support to leadership as needed
- Act as the point of contact for building operations and maintenance coordination
- Liaise with property management partners and vendors
- Track building-related expenses, service contracts, and communications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of accounting and office management experience; real estate experience a plus
- Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Proactive, solutions-oriented, and professional
- Ability to work full-time on-site
