Leasing Consultant
The Leasing Consultant will lead all resident and prospect engagement efforts—from first contact through lease renewal. Your ability to build rapport, provide outstanding service, and drive occupancy is crucial to creating a thriving, satisfied community. You’ll blend leasing, sales, and resident relations to foster a positive and engaging living experience for all.
Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the lease renewal process by delivering renewal offers, holding renewal discussions, and fostering strong resident relationships to maximize retention.
- Act as a professional, friendly, and solution-oriented point of contact for residents
- Respond promptly and professionally to all inbound leads.
- Conduct personalized property tours and convert prospects into new residents.
- Monitor local market trends and competitor activity; share insights with the team to support strategy and pricing decisions.
- Coordinate community engagement initiatives such as newsletters, raffles, social media, and resident events.
- Manage the rent collection process with consistency and empathy.
- Maintain open communication with residents on delinquent accounts, escalating complex or legal cases to the Community Manager as needed.
- Collaborate with leadership in monthly performance review meetings to align on goals and improve results.
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in leasing, sales, customer service, or a similar resident-facing role
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- A sales-driven mindset with strong follow-up and closing abilities
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication
- Comfort using technology tools such as CRMs, messaging platforms, and property management systems
- Proactive, organized, and energized by a fast-paced environment
