Sales Representative – Heating Oil & Equipment Sales


Long-standing heating oil provider serving residential and commercial customers across New York City, Westchester, and Long Island is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to drive growth through new account acquisition and equipment sales. No prior sales experience is required — candidates with the right attitude and ambition can be trained


As a Sales Representative, you will generate new customer accounts, sell heating oil services and heating equipment, and help customers find reliable, cost-effective solutions for their homes and businesses. This role includes field-based sales, flexible scheduling, and comprehensive training to support long-term success.


Responsibilities:


  • Acquire new heating oil customer accounts
  • Sell heating oil services and related heating equipment
  • Meet with prospective customers in assigned territories
  • Educate customers on service options and recommend solutions
  • Follow up promptly on leads and inquiries
  • Maintain accurate sales activity and customer records
  • Represent the company with professionalism and integrity


Qualifications:


  • No sales experience required — full training provided
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a strong desire to succeed
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and customer-first mindset
  • Able to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Comfortable with flexible hours, including up to 6 days per week
  • Fluent in English
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
  • Willing to travel throughout NYC, Westchester, and Long Island
