Sales Representative – Heating Oil & Equipment Sales
Long-standing heating oil provider serving residential and commercial customers across New York City, Westchester, and Long Island is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to drive growth through new account acquisition and equipment sales. No prior sales experience is required — candidates with the right attitude and ambition can be trained
As a Sales Representative, you will generate new customer accounts, sell heating oil services and heating equipment, and help customers find reliable, cost-effective solutions for their homes and businesses. This role includes field-based sales, flexible scheduling, and comprehensive training to support long-term success.
Responsibilities:
- Acquire new heating oil customer accounts
- Sell heating oil services and related heating equipment
- Meet with prospective customers in assigned territories
- Educate customers on service options and recommend solutions
- Follow up promptly on leads and inquiries
- Maintain accurate sales activity and customer records
- Represent the company with professionalism and integrity
Qualifications:
- No sales experience required — full training provided
- Highly motivated self-starter with a strong desire to succeed
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and customer-first mindset
- Able to work independently and manage time effectively
- Comfortable with flexible hours, including up to 6 days per week
- Fluent in English
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
- Willing to travel throughout NYC, Westchester, and Long Island
