Property Accounting Manager

Commercial Real Estate Owner, Operator, and Developer is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Property Accounting Manager to oversee the financial operations of a commercial portfolio. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys partnering with operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and providing meaningful insights to support property performance.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and timely financial records for assigned properties
• Review and analyze financial statements, expenses, and variances
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and periodic financial reporting
• Partner closely with property management and internal teams to ensure financial accuracy
• Perform account reconciliations and review transactions for compliance with accounting standards
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support operational and strategic decisions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 3+ years of commercial property accounting experience
• Proficiency in Yardi is required
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• CPA a plus
