Project Superintendent – Heavy Civil / Sitework Construction

A well-established heavy civil contractor is seeking a Project Superintendent with experience in heavy civil, excavation, sitework, or roadway construction to oversee field operations and project execution. The company specializes in large-scale public and private site development projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily field operations and coordinate with Project Managers, foremen, laborers, and equipment operators.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Coordinate material procurement and field logistics.
• Review project plans, timelines, and production goals with crews.
• Maintain accurate field reports and approve daily logs.
• Assist with change order documentation and project tracking.
• Support project closeout and overall project delivery.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Superintendent experience in heavy civil, excavation, sitework, roadway, or infrastructure construction required.
• Experience managing field crews and subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, equipment, and site operations.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and project documents.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Experience with public works or private site development projects preferred.
